You brought your cat home expecting the hard part to be over. The adoption papers were signed, the carrier was ready, the food bowl was out. And then came the sneezing. The watery eyes. The morning routine of wiping away discharge before you'd even had your coffee.

You did what any good cat parent would do. You called the vet. You watched the color of the discharge. You searched Reddit at midnight looking for someone, anyone, who understood what you were seeing. And somewhere in there, a quiet thought crept in: maybe I'm not doing enough.

Here's what we want you to know. What your cat is going through has nothing to do with how well you're taking care of them. Shelters are stressful places, and that stress leaves a mark that can show up weeks or months after adoption, long after your cat found their forever home with you.

That's the part nobody explains at the shelter. So we built Purr & Bloom to explain it, and to help.

We believe every rescue cat deserves more than just a home. They deserve to actually settle into it. To stop bracing. To bloom.
